Community Outreach

SIU School of Music provides opportunities for active engagement in music for all levels of age and ability. Programs range from free concerts targeting youth audiences to private lessons and participation in small and large group ensembles.

Junior Orchestra

Elementary and intermediate string players aged 9-14 (violin, viola, cello, and bass) convene once weekly to explore exciting music for string orchestra. Contact Professor Rosanna Cauti, rossana.cauti@siu.edu for details.
