Welcome to SIU Bands!

SIU Bands consists of both concert and athletic bands, including the SIU Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Marching Salukis, and Saluki Pep Band. In addition, we host an annual marching band festival and honor band festival bringing thousands of students to campus each year.

All School of Music ensembles are open to non-majors, in addition to music majors and minors. The Wind Ensemble requires an audition the first few days of the fall semester, but the Symphonic Band and Marching Salukis are open! Just add them to your schedule and contact Dr. Brozak to participate. If you played an instrument in high school, then there is a place for you at SIU!
